| Ecclesifringical absurdity |
|
Jack Barrow had what he describes as an ecclesifringical upbringing. His parents had connections with both the Mormon church and the Jehovah’s Witnesses and as a result he developed an ironic perspective on religion. After leaving school he fell in with a group of occultists; metaphysical philosophers and the like. It was here that he developed an interest in the occult and what people now call paganism. After some success in journalism and technical writing he wrote his first book, Satanic Viruses: The Fall of the Roman Empire and How to Bring it About. This was an essay about astrology, religion and science during the run up to the millennium. We are proud to say that this seminal work will soon be available again. Since then he has been working in various freelance roles doing everything from copywriting to technical documentation. Jack now applies all his experience to writing new age comic fiction with a strong philosophical or metaphysical bias. His first novel, The Hidden Masters and the Unspeakable Evil, is set in this original style and it is available now. His work is unlike anything else on the market, being original, funny, often ridiculous, occasionally surreal and frequently thought provoking. |
